I have been gaining experience in creative engagement through working with Ninewells Community Garden and with my volunteer role as Creative Engagement Coordinator for Room To Be, a community gardening group for the LGBTQIA+ community in Dundee.

I started volunteering at Ninewells Community Garden in March 2025, gaining experience planning and delivering creative activities for patients and accompanying staff from the Carseview Centre of Ninewells Hospital. Since then I have been developing my skills and have been successful with acquiring funding to design a series of workshops and an exhibition with Ward 2 from the Carseview Centre as part of the Scottish Mental Health Arts Festival 2025. I also hosted sessions for the summer holiday art club at Ninewells Community Garden, facilitating arts and crafts activities for families.

As a Creative Engagement Coordinator and committee member for Room To Be I co-create seasonal events as well as one-off workshops.
