Anna is a Dundee-based visual artist working primarily in textiles, drawing and painting. Much of her work reflects a search for connection, solace and belonging within the natural world as she captures its processes of growth and decay. Anna's creative approach is process-driven and led by her materials as she works quickly and intuitively to create many series of paintings and drawings, often feeding into a slower, more considered practice of textile making with hand and machine processes. Playfulness is at the heart of Anna's practice as she explores colour and pattern and often encourages tactile interaction with her textile work.
